Gaining happiness by growing sensible to beauty

(著) 藤井善三郎

I am writing academic books and technical books on Chinese art, and in response to a request for simple commentary, I wrote "A Day When Eternal Beauty Touches My Heart” as an “art novel,” considering the sense of reality in the form of a novel. At the time of its publication, I had already completed the second work, entitled “Fun Days with Sensibilities Cultivated by Beauty,” which was an art novel that added kabuki and opera appreciation. This third book is "Making a Beautiful Dream and a Happy Life.” As with the second work, it is about kabuki, opera, and musical appreciation, as well as ideas about the culture of food. It is a work that expands the range of art and at the same time develops the relationship between the main characters Yumeki Hoshikawa and Aika Mishiro. This book is a novel with a lot of content, incorporating stories from places overseas such as Vienna.
I call these three works collectively as "Beauty and Love's Dream Story.” As an author, I am very happy if it can help those who have had few opportunities to appreciate Chinese art until now to experience theater, meals, and even memories of youth, and to read it happily and casually.
