[About the product]
―How can people live life to the fullest when faced with difficult circumstances?―
Until a certain period of time, tuberculosis was called the national disease and was the number one cause of death for the nation. There are people whose families were destroyed by this disease in the past, and who continue to suffer from the pain. This book is a record of the author, who was deprived of a happy family future due to tuberculosis when he was young, and the love of his family, who continued to fight against tuberculosis and pray for the happiness of their children. No matter how difficult the situation, if you put your whole heart into it, your will will last forever. We must now pass on the ``reason and sincerity'' born from tragedy to future generations, and present them to the world.

[Comments from the Editor]
Now that we are in the midst of a new scourge called the coronavirus, I think the questions this book asks will resonate more strongly with our hearts than ever before. I would be happy if you could read this book and take some time to quietly think about what it is like for a person to live amidst the sufferings of birth, old age, illness, and death.

[Author Profile]
Terutoshi Minagawa

Born in Tokyo in 1938.
When he was 1 year and 5 months old, he lost his parents to tuberculosis and was raised by his grandparents and relatives along with his older sister. After graduating from Niigata Technical High School, he worked at the steel manufacturing company's Shibata, Hachinohe (passed Type 2 Electrical Examination in 1959), and Narashino factories, primarily in charge of electrical design for various industrial plants. While working and sending money home, he graduated from Tokyo Denki University. In 1976, he mediated a dispute over a technical partnership with a German partner. In addition, our uniquely developed synchronous drive system for automobile parts manufacturing equipment is currently in use at our production bases in Japan and the United States. On the other hand, he develops a monologue that attempts to explain the unhappiness of humans and society using "a living staff of reason and sincere love", which he has discovered through his own life and perspective on truth.
